Handmade Kozo/Kozo-Mix Papers

Kozo (Mulberry) bark is used in the majority of washi today. Kozo became a cultivated plant used especially for paper and cloth making. With long fibers, 100% Kozo papers are strong and durable, used commonly in conservation & repair, woodblock and other printmaking. 

Kozo used in making washi can be referred by the region they are cultivated from. 

Some common names include:
Tosa Kozo - from Kochi Prefecture, Japan
Nasu Kozo - from Ibaragi Prefecture, Japan
Thai Kozo - from Thailand
Paraguay Kozo - from Paraguay, South America
