Let’s create a cocoon-like paper lantern using dried branches, recycled milk carton paper pulp, and handmade glowing forms.
First, thread is wrapped around a balloon and coated with wet paper pulp. Once dry, the balloon is removed and a small LED light is placed inside, creating a soft glow like a snow blossom.
Finally, the glowing cocoon lanterns are suspended from the branches, forming a quiet, dreamlike sculptural object that combines light, texture, and natural materials.
What to Bring:
If you have any special materials you would like to use, such as dried branches or dried flowers, please feel free to bring them with you.
Please bring any empty containers you would like to use, such as jam jars, cans, cups, or vases.
