Iwano Paper (33 g/m² - 80 g/m²)

Iwano Paper Mill, Japan provides us with large size handmade Echizen Washi.

We currently stock 4 kinds of 42.5"x 77.5" papers, and Iwano can produce sheets as large as 83"x 107".

These papers are suitable for drawing and other mediums. The Iwano Mill is the only papermaker known for its large size, thick paper for printmaking, drawing, calligraphy, and conservation use. Their paper making technique is a family guarded secret. In their mill, they rely on years of experience and their sense of touch to make high quality papers. These are by far the finest large size papers being produced in Japan.
