These books are used by Japanese tourists to collect commemorative stamps at different temples they visit. They are also commonly used as guestbooks, for scrapbooking, collage and more. Slight tonal variations may occur due to the organic nature of the materials used. 

Covers are hand dyed  with natural ingredients. Available in two colors: indigo (danzome or shibori style) and persimmon.
