Mino-gami maker, Kiyoko Urabe has been making paper for 30 years. It was love at first sight when she first saw the late Sayoko & Kozo Furuta making Mino paper. She then began her training at the Furuta house, learning the ways of Mino papermaking. After a brief time in a different region, Kiyoko moved back to Mino to continue the legacy that her mentors left.
This paper is suitable for various conservation uses, as well as for calligraphy or printmaking.
