HM-22 Seichosen (45g/m²)
Size: 29.5" x 55"
Weight: 45 g/m²
Seichosen may be used for calligraphy, sumi-drawing, printmaking and backing (100% Japanese Kozo).
These beautiful papers are made by Shigeru Ozaki in Kochi prefecture. The material for both Seichosen and Seikosen are cultivated in the local mountains surrounding the Ozaki home. And now his granddaughter, Akari, is making the paper, too.
* This paper is sent from the papermaker and stored in a loose trifold format, which is how Japanese paper was stored traditionally. You may notice some light lines where the folds would be, but they are not a defect and may be ironed out to be less visible. Please contact us if you'd like to see images of the current stock before ordering.
