Description: Have you ever wondered if the paper materials you encounter in everyday life can be reused in some way instead of just being thrown away? In this workshop, participants will learn how to make paper pulp using recycled paper from colorful egg cartons from Japan and shredded documents. Then, the pulp will be used to create one-of-a-kind 2D pulp 'paintings'. Using molds of different shapes and sizes, participants will create their own paintings using only recycled paper pulp. No additional dyes or pigments will be added to the pulp, making this a fun and non-toxic activity for all.
