Description: In this workshop, participants will learn this simplistic binding technique to create a sublime soft cover journal with nuanced embellishments. The technique will feature a spine that is only bound on the ends with thread wrapping around the top and bottom of the spines. The cutout on the spine exposes the pure untouched portions of the signatures. The covers can then be decorated with watercolor paints, sumi ink, or whatever you see fit.
