The Kizuki Hosho in particular, made by national living treasure Ichibei Iwano, is the premier washi of Echizen.
100% Japanese Kozo of the highest grade from Ibaraki Prefecture.
With a smoother texture than other Hosho papers.
*Kizuki means 100% kozo paper made by traditional Japanese papermaking methods. Another Kizuki washi of ours is "Usu Mino".
